Jenna Pelletier is a freelance features journalist who lives and works between Boston and Providence. She writes about food, arts, wellness, travel, and other topics related to lifestyle and culture. Over the course of her career, she has interviewed everyone from fashion designer Todd Oldham and glass artist Dale Chihuly to legendary chef Jacques Pepin and Patriots player Matt Light.

Previously, Jenna worked as a features staff writer at The Providence Journal and a food editor at Boston magazine. Her Boston magazine article “How to Eat Like a New Englander” was nominated for the 2018 national City & Regional Magazine Association award for Best Food or Dining Feature Package.

Her writing and editing has also appeared in Food & Wine, The Boston Globe, Rhode Island Monthly, Time Out New York, and other publications. She got her start in the industry first as an editor at her college newspaper, The Daily Free Press, then went on to intern at Food & Wine, fact-check for The Boston Globe Magazine, and develop a series of editorial e-newsletters for Rhode Island Monthly.

Additionally, she has instructed several writing and journalism courses as an adjunct professor at Boston University, UMass Dartmouth, and other colleges in New England.

When she’s not working, you’ll often find her hanging out in downward-facing dog in a yoga studio, chopping vegetables in her kitchen, and road tripping throughout New England.

Jenna is available for freelance writing, editing, and content development work. Contact her at jennapelletier@gmail.com.
